This is a conference is a 4 day session held at the farm from 8 – 4 pm. (Lunch on your own. You are welcome to bring a sack lunch and go for a hike or picnic on the farm.)

Take a tour of our facility and learn how an aquaponics system is built and works. This is for those that are interested in learning the ropes and navigating the details of how to successfully develop your own 365 days/yr aquaponics system for the classroom and utilize it to teach STEM curriculum. This conference is taught by a professional science educator with more than 12 years of classroom experience and a masters in curriculum and instruction. You will learn how to set-up and navigate students through hands on experiences and will be provided with a multitude of STEM lesson plans that can be used for grades 2-12. Canning Jams and Jellies
Saturday, June 23rd (9-1 pm)

All materials and supplies will be provided for this afternoon course. You will take home with you jam and a Windy Drumlins canning booklet. This course includes a 45 minute presentation on how to make this sweet treat along with a hands-on jam making experience. The type of jam is dependent on availability of organic berries. You will want to bring an apron for this fun filled tasty morning or evening. All other supplies are provided.
Ages 14 and up. This is a 4-6 hr session – $90

This course includes 2 hours of classroom instruction and approximately 2 hours of time working with the bee hives and equipment on our farm. This is agreat course for anyone intersted in learning more about our Wisconsin bee population and/or starting a hive or two of your own. NOTE: Bring your own suit, veil, and gloves. Everything else provided.
Intro to Willow Furniture Making
April 28th (10-3 pm) and May 5th (10-3 pm)
18 and up. This is a 1 day course – $125 and you must register at least one week prior to the course.
This course is a hands on willow making experience. Your instructor has more than 15 years of experience creating beautiful works of art utilizing willow and cedar. You will make a unique plant stand for your home and patio under the guidance of an experienced willow furniture expert. Be prepared to learn many new skills and get your hands dirty! All supplies provided. Bring a positive attitude and you will have success! Maximum number of students: 6
